About the Role
Cloudality is seeking an experienced Offshore Data Migration Developer to lead and execute large-scale data migration initiatives as part of a Salesforce implementation covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud Advanced, and Experience Cloud. This role focuses on migrating high-volume data from multiple legacy systems into Salesforce while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit-ready documentation. You will work closely with architects, SMEs, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-governed migration outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and test ETL scripts and workflows using DBAmp, Gearset, Salesforce Data Loader, and custom scripts
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple legacy systems including Zendesk, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Pay94, Atlas, HCSDB, JEFF11, and Salesforce
- Apply transformation logic based on data mapping documents to align legacy data with Salesforce objects, fields, and record types
- Execute partial loads, up to three test migrations, and final production data migration
- Identify and resolve data quality issues such as duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies in collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders
- Validate migrated data across Salesforce clouds to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation
- Maintain audit-ready documentation including migration jobs, logs, reconciliation reports, and configuration records using Elements.cloud and configuration workbooks
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in data migration or ETL, including 2+ years working with Salesforce platforms
- Proven experience migrating large data volumes (10M+ records) from multiple legacy systems
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, governance, and record structures
- Experience handling PII data, deduplication, validation, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on expertise with DBAmp, Gearset, and Salesforce Data Loader
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation logic
- Exposure to Apex, Python, or scripting for advanced transformation use cases
- Familiarity with Salesforce security, sharing models, encryption, and audit features
- Understanding of integration contexts using REST APIs and MuleSoft
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I; data/ETL certifications are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, documentation discipline, and effective cross-team communication
